Responsibilities:Reporting to the Underground Operations Supervisor, the Underground Miner is responsible for the following:Safely and effectively operator mining equipmentBe expected to work in a safe and efficient mannerPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:One (1) year of mining experience preferredPrior underground and/or equipment operation experience preferredExcellent safety, attendance and work records requiredDemonstrate initiative as a team member in a growing, fast-paced environment requiredAbility to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel requiredAbility to work with minimal supervision requiredPrevious haul truck driver or equipment operation experience preferred The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.Qualified candidates who meet the required experience and technical criteria may be eligible for relocation assistance (for out-of-area hires) and/or a sign-on bonus upon joining Nevada Gold Mines.
