As our new Environmental Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team providing state-of-the-art scientific, technical, and strategic risk management assistance to an international client base. Depending on your areas of focus, your key tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Completing environmental site assessments of commercial and industrial sites.
  • Completing limited environmental compliance reviews of industrial sites, by reviewing and abstracting regulatory requirements for multi-media environmental compliance.

  • Preparation of technical reports that effectively communicate (summarize) site findings.
  • Formulating conclusions and opinions and communicating with clients.
  • Travel to industrial and commercial facilities for site visits (typically one day in duration), including both local and non-local travel (using social distancing procedures and other COVID-19 precautions as appropriate).
  • Supporting multiple projects and meeting high quality standards on project deliverables.

  • Classwork or experience with site assessment and investigation, contaminant fate and transport, pollution control and design, regulatory policy, and GIS mapping a plus.
  • Willingness/ability to travel up to 30% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver's license. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state. Travel duration is typically 1-2 days, depending upon the specific requirements of each project.
